Women's empowerment project, Mt Kilimanjaro Trek
International Women's Day is just around the corner (March 8th) and we couldn't be more excited for the venture that we have chosen to support this year.Â
Cate Butcher, who runs 'Wanderlust Women's Adventures' has organised a group of women to hike and summit the largest mountain in Africa - Mt Kilimanjaro - to help raise awareness of women & empowerment in Tanzania. Their mission is to summit the mountain on 8th of March which is International Women's Day. They have also raised enough donations to bring 2 Tanzanian women on their summit hike with them which will take 7 days - amazing!
