EXCHANGES & RETURNS

Your happiness is our goal.

We want you to love your Bird & Kite and feel beautiful wearing it. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your online purchase we will be happy to accept a return or exchange of any full priced items within 14 days of placing your online order. Please note that we cannot accept returned items that have been worn / tags removed. Should this be the case, your items will be returned to you and a refund not processed. Please DO NOT return items to us without contacting us first. We will not accept these returns and the items will be returned to Sender. 

Please note: There is no refund or exchange on sale items.

Here’s how to return or exchange your item:

  • To request a return or exchange you please contact us within 14 days of placing your order online on hello@birdandkite.com. Once you have made contact with us, our customer service team will reply to you with a return address within 48 hrs.
  • In your email, please provide your name and order number and specify your reason for return. If the item is faulty, please outline a description of the fault and attach a photo. You will be asked to print our return & exchange form and fill this out when returning your item to us. All Exchanges are required to also include a return Self Addressed Shipping bag for us to ship your new size / style out to you. Should this not be included, an invoice for $12 shipping will be sent to you and must be paid before we can fully process your exchange.
  • The item needs to be returned within 7 days of us making contact with you.
  • The return item needs to be sent via a trackable method. Please retain your tracking number in the case of a missing parcel. We will not be held responsible for any lost packages sent to us for a return or exchange.
  • Postage costs for sending and returning of items are at the customer’s expense unless the item is faulty.
  • A refund of the cost of the item will be issued, via original payment method, once we receive the item in original, unworn condition with tags attached minus any shipping costs that Bird & Kite has paid. ie. If your order was shipped out via our FREE SHIPPING, a $12 shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.
  • Our customer service team will handle exchange requests and particulars with you via email.

    DOMESTIC SHIPPING

    Yay! We offer free shipping on all Australian orders

    • We want to offer you the most reliable delivery service. For this, all orders are sent via Australia Post, Express post service.
    • Please allow 1-2 working days for order packing and dispatch of your order.
    • Once shipped, delivery generally takes 2 – 5 working days for domestic orders.
    • All items are issued with a tracking number. Once your order has been sent you will be sent an email from Bird & Kite with a delivery status and tracking number. You are then free to track your parcel at your own convenience, at any time, using the Australia post online tracking service - Simply click the link in this email to be automatically re-directed there.
    • In the event your parcel has not reached you within 5 working days, feel free to email us at info@birdandkite.com so we may be of assistance in tracing your parcel.
    • Australia Post is a 3rd Party service. We will offer as much assistance as is possible in locating missing parcels, however, we are subject to Express Post terms and conditions once the item has been sent.
    • While we are so happy to be able to offer FREE SHIPPING on all our online orders to our Australian customers, we can not however, refund this amount when an item is returned. Please note that a flat fee of $12 will be deducted from your refund payout should you wish to return your unworn Bird & Kite item.

    INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

    Yay! We love our international customers!

    We want to offer you the most reliable delivery service. For this, all orders are sent via Australia Post, Registered Airmail service at a flat rate of $35 AUD worldwide.

    • Delivery generally takes around 7-18 days (7-10 business days).
    • Any further taxes or import duties incurred during delivery to certain countries are at the expense of the customer. Bird & Kite are not able to estimate these costs. Please check your own countries import limits.
    • All items are issued with a tracking number. Once your order has been sent you will be contacted by us via email with a delivery status and tracking number. You are then free to track your parcel at your own convenience, at any time, using the Australia post online tracking service,
    • In the event your parcel has not reached you within 21 days, feel free to email us at info@birdandkite.com so we may be of assistance in tracing your parcel.
    • Australia Post is a 3rd Party service. We will offer as much assistance as is possible in locating missing parcels, however, we are subject to Express Post terms and conditions once the item has been sent.
