YOUR HAPPINESS IS OUR GOAL.

We want you to love your Bird & Kite purchase and feel beautiful wearing it. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your online purchase, you are welcome to return it to us within 14 days of dispatch from our warehouse.  Please note that we cannot accept items that have been worn or with tags removed. Should this be the case, your items will be returned to you and a refund not processed. Please  DO NOT  return items to us without requesting a return here. We will not accept these returns and the items will be returned to sender. 

FOR FULL PRICED ITEMS 
Customers can either receive a refund  or  be issued store credit. 

FOR DISCOUNTED ITEMS
Customers will be issued store credit  only  for any returned items purchased at a discount(including purchases using a promo, discount or coupon code, as well as sale items).

RETURNS OF FULL PRICED ITEMS T & C'S: 

  • Shipping costs for both sending and returning items are at the customer’s expense, unless the item is faulty. 
  • While we are so happy to offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders over $250, we can not refund this amount when an item is returned. Please note that a flat fee of $10 will be deducted from your refund payout if you wish to return your unworn Bird & Kite item. 
  • Customers can either be refunded the value of the return less the original shipping costs, or receive a store credit less the value of the original shipping costs.
  • We do not offer clothing exchanges. Only exchange for store credit.
  • Please note that free shipping is only offered to orders of $250 or more. If by returning your item your order value is reduce to zero or below this amount you will be charged shipping costs and will be refunded the the value of the return LESS shipping costs.
  • Return requests must be made within 14 days of dispatch from our warehouse, and we must receive the returned items not later than 21 days after your order was dispatched. If the items arrive after this date, we may not be able to process your return. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking once your order has been dispatched.
  • Items must be returned undamaged, with labels and tags still attached in unworn condition. If returning your order, our gifted scrunchie must be returned with the item.

DELIVERY DATES*
  • Dispatch dates can be found at the top of the description of each pre-purchase product. 
  • Dispatch dates are an estimate only. Covid related delivery delays, outside of our control, dependant.

*Please note that if you are ordering an item that is on Pre-Order AND an item that is currently in stock, your order will not be shipped until all items in your order are ready to be dispatched. If you would like your'In Stock' item sent immediately, please place 2 separate orders for the items. 

RETURNS
  • Pre-orders purchased at full recommended retail price are able to be returned as per the conditions of our standard returns policy. Please check our  “Returns on Full Priced Items” conditions.  
  • Returns requests must be made within 14 days of dispatch from our warehouse, and we must receive the returned items not later than 21 days after your order was dispatched. Ifthe items arrive after this date, we may not be able to process your return. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
 
CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER
SWAPPING - We are not able to swap pre-purchased items with another style. You may request to cancel the order for a full refund. This will allow you to jump online and purchase the desired style separately. Cancellation requests must be within 24 hours of time of purchase.
 
CHANGE OF SIZE - We are not able to change a size in your pre-purchase order once you have placed it. You may request to cancel the order for a full refund. This will allow you to jump online and purchase the desired style separately. Cancellation requests must be within 24 hours of time of purchase.
 
CANCELLATIONS - Pre- purchased items may be cancelled within 24 hours from time of original purchase for a refund.  After 24 hour hours, no cancellations will be accepted.


HERE’S HOW TO RETURN YOUR ITEM:

  • You must return your item within 14 days of dispatch date from our warehouse. 
  • To request a return, followthis link and fill out the returns request form online.
  • We will review your returns request and update you with the next steps within the next 1-2 working days. 
  • If your return has been approved, you will receive an email with information on where to send your parcel. Please follow all the instructions provided to you in the email. These emails are sent automatically once you submit your returns requests. Be sure to check your spam or all other folders in your inbox. 
  • The return item MUST be re-packaged and properly sealed in the original waterproof Black'Dirt Bag' delivery satchel that it arrived in, with the shipping label attached to the outside. If the original black'Dirt Bag' delivery satchel has been lost or damaged after opening, the customer must purchase a new, waterproof, fully sealed, delivery satchel to return the shipment inside. A customer may not receive a refund if the package is not shipped back as requested in a protected condition.
  • Before dropping off your parcel, please make sure that yourAPPROVED returns are packaged properly, with the shipment label printed and securely attached to your parcel. Also ensure that your Name and Order number is written clearly on your parcel.
  • Please ensure you keep your tracking information at hand. We are not responsible for lost parcels.
  • Once your item is received at our warehouse, please allow 3-5 business days for our team will check it’s condition and process your return. You will then receive a refund or store credit as per the conditions of your purchase. 
  • Items must be returned to us in unworn condition with tags still attached. The gifted Scrunchie must also be returned with your item.
  • You will receive email confirmation of your refund or store credit note.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

We offer free shipping on all order values of $250 or over.
  • Order values of $249 or less will incur a flat rate of $10 shipping cost 
  • Please allow 1-2 working days for order packing and dispatch of your order.
  • Once shipped, delivery generally takes 2 – 5 working days for domestic orders.
  • All items are issued with a tracking number. Once your order has been sent you will be sent an email from Bird & Kite with a delivery status and tracking number. You are then free to track your parcel at your own convenience, at any time using the online tracking service - simply click the link we will provide.
  • In the event your parcel has not reached you within 5 working days from dispatch, please email us atinfo@birdandkite.com so we can assist you with tracing your parcel.
  • All delivery services are a 3rd Party service. Once items have been shipped, they become the property and responsibility of the purchaser. We are not responsible for parcels that go missing or that are stolen.
  • While we are so happy to be able to offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders of $250 or over to all our customers, we can not however, refund this amount when an item is returned. Please note that a flat fee of $10 will be deducted from your refund payout should you wish to return your unworn Bird & Kite item.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We offer free shipping on all order values of $250 or over
  • Order values Of $249 or less will incur a flat rate of $10 shipping cost 
  • Delivery generally takes around 7-18 days(7-10 business days).
  • Any further taxes or import duties incurred during delivery to certain countries are at the expense of the customer. Bird & Kite are not able to estimate these costs. Please check your own countries import limits.
  • All items are issued with a tracking number. Once your order has been sent you will be contacted by us via email with a delivery status and tracking number. You are then free to track your parcel at your own convenience, at any time, using the online tracking service from the link we will provide you with.
  • In the event your parcel has not reached you within 21 days, please email us atinfo@birdandkite.com so we may be of assistance in tracing your parcel (note that delivery times of international orders may be significantly longer than usual, due to Covid-19 related delays).
  • All delivery services are a 3rd Party service. Once items have been shipped, they become the property and responsibility of the purchaser. We are not responsible for parcels that go missing or that are stolen.

FIRST TIME SUBSCRIBERS DISCOUNT

First time subscribers will receive a one time use, 10% off discount code to enjoy at any time of their choice. The code has no expiry date.
  • If shoppers opt out or forget to use their code on their first purchase, we are not able to remove the 10% from their order after it’s been placed. The good news is that the code has no expiry date and can be used on their next purchase or any purchase of their choice.
  • Items purchased using the first time subscribers discount code are considered full priced items and does not count as discounted items. Customers are able to return these items and receive either a refund or store credit. 

COVID-19 SHIPPING UPDATE

We are happy to advise that, for the most part, our delivery lead times have not been effected for domestic orders, and some international orders.Our distribution and courier partners have been doing an amazing job navigating new challenges during COVID-19. 
 
Whilst the cases of delayed deliveries have been low, we have experienced some delays outside of our control. International orders may experience more delays than domestic orders and can take significantly longer to arrive than normal.
